What is Fife Nature

 As the local biological record centre, Fife Nature (which is part of the Planning Department of Fife Council) provides information on all aspects of wildlife and biodiversity in Fife. Founded in 1992, it is part of a similar network of record centres across the British Isles.

All information is kept on powerful databases linked to a Geographical Information System (GIS) allowing quick and easy access to a full range of species, site and habitat information.
