Some members may have been fortunate last Christmas to have sighted a very special Robin on our sales table at various events. Others may have been lucky enough to have received one from a friend! This was our very own exclusive Christmas card – a new venture for Fife & Kinross Members’ Centre.
The decision was taken in October to print our own card for sale. We were given a beautiful photo by Rob Armstrong, one of our members, and printed 1000 copies. We packaged the cards in packs of 5 (with envelopes) and sold these at £1.95 each.
Unfortunately due to lack of time we were not able to publicise this project in Fawn. However, in spite of the lack of publicity we sold over 180 packs. We are so pleased with the result that we intend to produce a new design for next Christmas – more news nearer the time. We also hope to have our own Notecard as well. (By the way, if any members are interested we still have a few packs of “Robin” remaining.)
